worship, and spiritual renewal.

Speaker Bio
The Rev. Julie Carter Schaaf is a Greenville native and grew up at John Knox Presbyterian Church. She is a 1981 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Modern Languages and received her Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary in 1999. Julie has served as the Pastor of Nazareth Presbyterian Church in Moore, SC since January 2016. Previously, she served as the Chaplain at the Foothills Presbyterian Retirement Community in Easley for fifteen years. Julie also enjoys leading retreats, reading, sailing and tailgating at Clemson football games with her family. She has served on several Committees for the Foothills Presbytery including a term as Moderator of the Presbytery. She currently serves on the Property Advisory Committee and the Committee on Shared Ministry. Julie’s husband, Danny, is retired. They have two grown children and three beautiful grandsons, Hayden, Douglas and Daniel.
