Position: Senior Vice President of Development and Church Relations

Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Development and Church Relations serves as the executive leader responsible for PCSC’s fundraising strategy, church relations, and the overall direction of the PCSC Foundation. This newly created position reports to the CEO and represents a significant organizational investment in the growth, visibility, and strategic impact of philanthropy across PCSC.
As a member of the core executive leadership team, the Senior Vice President provides high-level guidance for PCSC’s philanthropic initiatives, serves as the primary spokesperson for fundraising and church relations, and oversees the strategic development, alignment, and performance of the Foundation. This role is a senior leadership position with substantial influence and strategic decision-making responsibilities focused on philanthropic priorities.

Competencies and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, mission-minded leader with proven experience as a fundraiser, skilled in charitable giving, planned giving, and capital campaigns (5 years minimum, 7 preferred). A bachelor’s degree is required, as is demonstrated experience of working effectively with faith-based organizations (Proven positive working relationships with Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations are preferred.). Professional fundraising certification (such as CFRE) is preferred.
